Beginning in July, GlamPros.com will be the centralized place where people will go to find a glam professional in their area or in the world. Depending on the glam service a person is looking for, he/she will be able to see pictured profiles of makeup artists, hair stylists, fashion/wardrobe stylists, and designers in one quick search. By clicking on the pro’s picture or name, the searcher will see additional details of that pro’s profile.
Cool, right?
As for the pros, once you join, not only will people find you, but you’ll:
- have your very own GlamPros.com wall where people can connect with you;
- add your portfolio or pictures of your work to your profile;
- add video to your profile;
- link your social media accounts (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.);
- link your blogs;
- network and connect with potential clients, your peers, employers, and glam companies;
- view our career services page containing job postings;
- get business advice and tips (from me and other business beauty experts) on how to manage your business to comfortably move to the next level and rock your business;

Now here’s how you WIN. Think about creating:
- an impressive short bio
- what are your specialties?
- who’s your target market? (Make sure your work reflects your ideal client. I’ll talk more about this in the coming weeks.)
- what do you charge for your services? (Be very clear here – you don’t want people who can’t afford you to waste their time or especially yours. I’ll talk more about this in the coming weeks.)
- a portfolio or pictures of your work (make sure you include your best and current work. Think about what’s trending now that will spark their interest and hire you.)
- YouTube videos or regular videos that show off your work or you in action. (Video is powerful, so even if you do just one – do it! More on this in the coming weeks.)
